As restrictions start to ease there is a hopeful sight of some normality coming back into our lives, so today we decided to look back over the past year as we reminisced and talked about what we were grateful for during the national lockdown. The people living at Castleford have been through massive changes in the last year and, for most of it, were unable to see their loved ones. The outstanding staff at Castleford had to help support and reassure them during some of the difficult and uncertain times. Reading the comments that people have given us today is so heart-warming, knowing how much they appreciated us during the lockdown (and the cheesecakes for Judith!). We are now, hopefully, moving forward so we can get back to some sort of normal routine and make the most out of 2021!
