A fun time was enjoyed by our residents who took part in the 1980s game of ‘Play your Cards Right!’ Many remembered the famous TV game show which was hosted by the legendary Bruce Forsyth. Residents called out “higher or lower” at the turn of a card which caused quite a lot of excitement. It was fun to remember the original catchphrases from the TV programme and call them out during the game. These included, “It could still be a big night if you play your cards right!”, “You don’t get anything for a pair – not in this game!” and ‘Ok, dollies do your dealing”. Iris and David were particularly good at remembering these catchphrases.
