Today we headed down to Porthcawl beach for an afternoon in the sunshine with these lovely ladies!
Going to Porthcawl was very special for lots of different reasons. Kath loves a day out at the beach, Margery holds some special childhood memories at Porthcawl, it was Louise’s first ever trip and it is Margaret’s first day at Castleford!
We enjoyed fresh chips on the beach front, followed by an ice cream and a stroll down to the sand. Both Margery and Kath said their ice-cream was “beautiful”.
Louise, who was particularly excited for our day out, told us: “I’ve seen some wonderful things and I thought it was superb!
