April saw some new arrivals to our growing flock of ducks. We would like you all to meet Whacky and Ebony, named affectionately by our maintenance man, Lucien. Lucien collected some of the eggs from our own ducks and decided to see if any of them would hatch. We bought an incubator and after a few weeks Whacky arrived into the world. A week later, Ebony also hatched to join the flock. Once it was safe to do so, Whacky and Ebony paid a little visit to the residents. It was clear that they were very happy to meet the chicks and watch them grow.
