Today we have watched the Grand National races! We have followed the Aintree races on television and the Chepstow races online! We have created some ‘Milkwood Money’ for people to place their bets. Two of the ladies won on the 2nd race and Megan won on the 3rd race.We have, of course, watched the races in true Grand National style; with strawberries and champagne! We asked some of the people who watched the races with us what they thought. One resident told us: “this is brilliant, I feel like I’ve won the lottery!” and another said that “it’s been a wonderful afternoon!”
