This year has been unprecedented for us all in so many ways. Not least because our dear residents haven’t been able to see and spend time with their loved ones.
Milkwood have made it their mission to reunite families during this time whilst still ensuring COVID-19 guidelines are strictly adhered to. Our handy man, Lucien, spent the day making this amazing visiting screen in our orangery. This has meant that residents can very safely see one family member at a time in timed slots. The happiness that this has brought to their lives has been immeasurable and has been a joy for us to see. Margaret’s reunion with her daughter, Sandy, was a very emotional but happy one. Sadly, we are in another national lockdown, but be rest assured, as soon as we are safely able to, family visits will resume.
