We have been super busy here getting our sensory garden ready for its grand opening.
As you can see in the photos, what a fantastic transformation!
Some of the people living at Castleford have been really helpful in creating our sensory area and have worked really hard to get it where is today, but we feel one of our residents, needs a special mention, as she has been out in the garden almost every day, no matter what the weather. Her gardening skills have been invaluable to us whilst we have worked on this project. Shw told us: “it’s been so lovely to be involved. I love gardening and keeping busy, I can’t wait to see it finished.”
We are still so overwhelmed and grateful for the support and generosity of our Castleford community. Thank you, everyone, so much for helping us make this happen.
