We embraced the spooky season today with some pumpkin carving and traditional Halloween dancing with the team!
Two of our ladies have spent some time helping us carve pumpkins to display in our home! We tried to recreate ‘Jack’ from The Nightmare Before Christmas and one resident wanted to create a scary-looking pumpkin and we think both ladies have succeeded and done a fantastic job! One said: “they look marvellous, very artistic!”
Later on this afternoon, to really get us in to the Halloween spirit, we all got together and danced to ‘Thriller’ and the ‘Timewarp’. Despite most of us dancing with two left feet, we have not stopped laughing whilst doing so! Anna Mason, one of our Senior Carers said: “it was great to get everyone involved! I’ll never pass up a chance to celebrate Halloween!” Mike, who also joined in, added: “we know how to have a good laugh don’t we?!”
