Over the past two days we have celebrated St. David’s day here at Castleford! ✨
We started our celebrations with an all-Welsh produce afternoon tea, as we boarded a virtual train ride that took us up the Welsh mountains 🚂
To commemorate the “feast day of St. David” we headed to Raglan Castle for a picnic with a view! With Welsh cakes, leek and cheese rolls with lots of other snacks we had our own little feast! 🏰
With our proud Welsh lady, Kath, more commonly known as Nanny Kath, threw herself into the celebrations. Whilst enjoying her picnic today she cheered: “Happy St. David’s Day!”
