We recently enjoyed a ‘big day out’ to Techniquest! We took Margaret, Vincent, Marjorie, and Megan out for the day, where we explored science and learned so much along the way. Vincent loved the wind machine that blew a giant fan at you at the same speed as a tornado, as well as the cloud puff press. Marjorie enjoyed the earthquake simulator, where you sat on a special pad that vibrated at different frequencies to demonstrate the various levels of earthquakes. This was a fabulous activity for everyone involved, providing our residents with plenty of space to roam and lots of sensory opportunities.
