We welcomed locals to our summer fête fundraiser, held in our newly refurbished garden. There were lots of different stalls, including a BBQ, face painting for the children, hook a duck and tin can alley. If the children won a game, they received a prize, if not, they still received a little goodie bag, filled with sweets! We also had a bric-a-brac stall, cake & mocktails/tea/coffee stall and a cake stall. We had an alcohol stall, with the chance to win different boozy beverages – you picked a raffle ticket out of a bucket to see whether you had a matching raffle number to one on a bottle – of course, this was a big hit and everyone loved it! We had a huge raffle with a chance to win 35 prizes! These included massive hampers and gift vouchers. We also welcomed Mandy Ann who performed for the residents and visitors. It was a great day with lots of people supporting The Mountains Residents Fund, raising money towards half the cost of a Tovertafel. The Mountains will kindly donate the rest of the money to purchase the interactive table.
