Today, Castleford House opened the “Wet N’ Wild Water Park” for the first time!
With the scorching weather what better way to keep cool and have the most fun than by jumping into rubber ring and racing down a water slide!?
Everyone living at Castleford, staff and some of the relatives have had the most fantastic afternoon at the Wet N’ Wild Water Park! We have laughed endlessly and have had the best time!
One resident who went down the slide a record of eight times said: “it’s been absolutely brilliant! I haven’t laughed like this for years!” Another resident also joined us on the slide and told us: “I have had so much fun. I’ve never seen anything like this before!”
We have wound down the day with a big family barbecue in the garden whilst still enjoying the beautiful sun! Today’s cook, Steph, has even created burgers and hotdogs for anyone requiring a softer diet so that everyone can enjoy the barbecue.
