It turned out to be a glorious day for a walk along the Thames in Sonning where we stopped at Sonning Lock for a cuppa and an ice cream before watching the boats sail along.

We have enjoyed a few music entertainment sessions, including Gwyn, the drummer, Mandy Ann and Carol Rees Jones. Everyone loves a dance and a sing along at The Mountains!

Zoolab joined us again for their quarterly visit. Our residents love to see all the creepy crawlies, that Zoolab have to offer. From millipedes to snakes, it is certainly not something that we get too see everyday.

When the sun has its hat off, our residents love to spend their time outdoors soaking up the sunshine!

Father Hollins, from St Pauls Church in Liss, who often pops into Chatterwood, introduced us to a lovely Austrian lady called Ludmillar. Colleen visited her sister and brother-in-law in Gloucester. They are currently on a 3 month journey in their canal boat, The Goosey-Gander. Colleen had her favourite meal of scampi and chips at an historical pub, on the docks of the Gloucester Quays.

Every Friday morning, we treat ourselves to a tea & coffee morning, accompanied by delicious treats.

We have been on several outings recently, one of which includes bowling! Following the success of our bowling trip, we have now started our very own bowling club, which will run every third Wednesday of the month. We have also enjoyed going to a number of new places for lunch and a regular morning coffee……

The location here at Ganarew is beautiful, perfect for day trip outings with our residents. Recently, residents Joan and Adeline, and lifestyle co-ordinator Jenny, went on a lovely river trip.
