Sarah Ann has a new baby doll who she looks after her well and Val loves her new dolly!

Residents at Applewood went to The Anvil in Basingstoke to see Jack and the Beanstalk. The Dame came and met us all afterwards.

I received my NAPA (National Activity Providers Association) OCNLR Level 2 award in Supporting Activity Provision in Social Care at the end of September 2015, which means l am now registered as an Activity Worker. Our Christmas party on the 21st was fantastic. Castleford choir made a come back. We sounded great and didn’t burst any eardrums!

Olga and Brian singing along to TPS Band’s rendition of Noddy Holder’s ‘It’s Christmas’.

Exercising with musical movement is for all residents and it allows those residents with less mobility to exercise while sitting down and feel that they are not missing out. Staff also join into prompt and encourage everyone to join in with singing the tunes. It is a very lively event enjoyed by all.
