Tickled Pink joined us for an afternoon of singing and dancing. They performed lots of Christmas songs and we all joined in.

On the 15th December, we had a residents Christmas party. It was a great success and everyone enjoyed it. The lovely food was prepared by the kitchen staff and the Christmas cake was made by Rita’s sister Marie. Residents at Castleford House enjoyed a crisp tasting afternoon. We bought 6 different types of crisps and tasted them individually. Then gave them a score out of ten. The bacon frazzles won.

Christmas Day was such a fun and relaxed day with lots of families, food and presses! Joan, John and the other residents made Rudolph hot chocolates and lollipops, and elf and mouse candycanes to sell before Christmas and to decorate the trees.
