Kath Tite – a resident at Chatterwood House, turned 96 years old and we celebrated her birthday with a little party and a cake. Kath’s daughter-in-law, Paulo, celebrated Kath’s birthday with us.

Doreen and another resident at The Mountains enjoyed a trip out with the activities team for a nice roast dinner. Doreen celebrated her birthday and wanted to have lunch out.

November was a month full with activities!

All of our residents had a great time making decorations! We even had a go at making a lollipop stick snowflake – the image below shows the laying out.

We combined Ray Veck’s birthday with our Mad Hatter’s tea party. Ray’s family came to the party to celebrate Ray turning 88 years old and everyone had a lovely time. He received lots of cards and even his little granddaughter Violet came to see Ray. All the staff and residents had hats on and a…

Every year we are joined by Cradoc school choir who come to sing Christmas carols to the residents and staff at The Mountains nursing home. The children did an amazing job and were treated to a buffet and a goodie bag full of treats from our manager Stephanie.
