Italian Feast
We asked the residents what their favourite kind of food was! Italian food was a firm favourite amongst the residents, so we decided to put on a truly elaborate Italian feast! We had a aperitivo starter , then some delicious pasta dishes and to finish a lemon cheesecake and Tiramisu. The meal was FANTASTICO!

David mixed up a delightful batch of cupcakes for the residents to enjoy. He throughly enjoyed this activity and found it very relaxing. Once baked and cooled, Davidadded icing and sprinkles to his cakes for decoration and served for all to enjoy.

To begin the Mother’s Day celebrations each of the residents have written a little message either to their Mam or about being a Mam. We displayed these messages on our beautiful Happy Mother’s Day wall for everyone to read and smile. Our residents received some lovely cards and finished the day with an afternoon tea.

We had a wonderful day here at Ganarew House celebrating Mother’s Day. Our residents received beautiful bouquets of flowers and some lovely cards and presents. We then had a delicious afternoon tea, complete with chocolate eclairs to finish the day.

All our wonderful ladies received some beautiful flowers, cards and presents on Mother’s Day from their loved ones. One resident even received a beautiful hand-knitted blanket, which she was thrilled with! For lunch we tucked in to a delicious afternoon tea.
