Owl Visit🦉

Today our residents had an amazing afternoon with the visit of Rocky & Nelson… Rocky is the white Barn Owl & Nelson is the brown Tawny Owl. This made Pamela’s afternoon as she absolutely adores owls!

Residents and staff paid their respects to Queen Elizabeth II and marked her funeral with a dignified celebration of her life. Brian was happy to get on board his bike for ‘Cycling Without Age’ this month. He throughly enjoyed his ride around Monmouth, accompanied by Alan and Marianne, who are both volunteers for this great project. Tea Dance at Bridges

Ruth, Maddie and Judith have become regular visitors to the weekly tea dance held at Bridges Community Centre and are getting pretty smooth on the dance floor. Watch out, ‘Strictly’! These ladies have been practicing their moves and are looking good!

Flower Power

Our residents enjoyed going back to the swinging 60s with a flower power music festival. Everyone that got involved had a thoroughly good time.

Farm Day 🐄

So…. today our lovely residents have had a real farm experience! They all enjoyed the Company of the animals! Residents from Chatterwood nursing home joined us at Milkwood too! We all had fun! A big thank you to the Mill Cottage Farm Experience team for this brilliant day!
