Karaoke

Many of our residents have hidden talents and after a musical session of karaoke, it appears that we have some enthusiastic singers amongst us! This pair were not shy of the microphone and had a wonderful time singing their favourite songs.

Baking Pies

There’s a real art to pastry making, and our residents seem to really have the knack for it! After a great deal of kneading, flouring and rolling, these pie-makers produced perfect pies for dinner

Our lady residents really enjoy getting their nails manicured and polished. Look at these pretty fingers!

We enjoyed a country & western afternoon – everyone enjoyed tea and cake whilst wearing cowboy hats!

Fun & Games

We’ve been enjoying lots of activities both indoors and in our garden at Applewood. Two of the favourite games our residents have been playing on sunny days outside are the parachute game and quoits.

Candles & Cake

We had a few birthday celebrations and a lot of cake. Anne, Davina, Cynthia, Bill, Doreen, Paddy, Jill and Marjorie all had birthdays during lockdown.
