Applewood

Some residents soaked up the last of the summer sun.

With all the glorious sunshine recently, we have enjoyed spending time in the garden, playing games and sipping on a drink or two. Bottoms up!!

We often like to dance – here we are letting our hair down and doing the Conga. Give us a wiggle!

We’ve had plenty of fun and games indoors! Games with balls and balloons seem to be our favourites!

We celebrated Royal Ascot and the residents enjoyed a little flutter or two and popped open the champers (again!).

Arts and crafts is still one of our favourite activities for relaxing. Who doesn’t love a little gentle painting to while away the afternoon?

Our residents enjoyed reading some newspapers and other memorabilia from war time and bygone days.

Anyone for the Charleston? Applewood enjoyed an afternoon of dancing and sipping on a few flutes of champagne.

On a very sunny Wednesday lunchtime, we enjoyed al fresco eating at our famous Applewood BBQ & party.

As lockdown continues, Applewood never ceases to have lots of fun and we have all been kept busy with activities. Without our hairdresser and nail technician visiting, Applewood staff have stepped up to become ‘pamper experts’ and they have done brilliantly well to give wonderful manicures and make sure we all look our best.
