Applewood has thoroughly enjoyed various entertainment over the last few weeks, indulging in a jolly good sing-along and evenpartaking in a lively jig. And of course, let’s not forget our monthly visit from our beloved local Vicar.

Many an hour has been dedicated to enjoying our time in the garden.

We’ve been making the most of the beautiful weather, taking full advantage of it by visiting Garden Centres and local fetes. Oneparticular activity that our residents absolutely love is watching the gliders at Lasham. We’ve captured some incredible moments in ourGallery.

Today we took some of our lovely ladies on a trip out for tea and cake! The ladies loved being out and about in one of our favourite cafe’s, Little Roses and the cake was delicious!

Residents had great fun at an afternoon full of pom poms and cheerleading to sounds of the 60s!

Hawaii came to Applewood and the residents enjoyed dressing up and eating coconuts and pineapples.

Even with a full programme of in-house activities, we have still found time to go out and about. Our ladies really enjoyed a trip to the local museum for a ‘Shoe Inside Out’ exhibition.

Valentine Day at Applewood was full of love and we celebrated in style. One of our residents enjoyed a very romantic meal with his wife, the first Valentine’s Day they had ever celebrated, apparently!

Applewood residents love pancake day and all the lovely toppings on offer for their sweet treats.
