Braeburn Lodge

Braeburn recently welcomed a fantastic celebrity guest—Danyl Johnson! He graced us with a beautiful Christmas song that brought joy to ourlovely residents, staff, and guests. A big thank you for his kindness and the sweet treats that made the day even more special!

Braeburn Lodge immersed themselves in preparing for Children in Need last week. The residents enjoyed making Pudsey masks and doing some arts and crafts. We love seeing all the homes different activities and what they get up too.

Engaging in flower arranging accompanied by cups of tea is truly a wonderful way to spend time, especially when surrounded by the incredible scent of roses! A huge thank you is owed to Theale Cooperative for their generous donation of these beautiful flowers, allowing us to participate in such a special and enjoyable activity.

 We fully embraced the Halloween festivities! Pumpkin carving became an incredibly enjoyable activity with our favourite witches! We even added an extra twist by using a drill to create intricate and charming shapes in the pumpkins. It was such good fun!

 Our Art Club ladies have truly impressed us with their creativity and progress. Every Tuesday, our ladies gather with brushes, colours, and boundless enthusiasm, and the results have been nothing short of amazing! Over 12 weeks, their skills have flourished, and their dedication is evident in every stroke. Here’s to more wonderful creations ahead!

More fabulous work from some of our Braeburn Lodge residents at art club. Our residents seem to really enjoy this weekly activity and we love seeing them all enjoy themselves painting and colouring whilst having a cuppa and a biscuit. Keep up the great work everyone!

Our lovely little excursion this afternoon out to St Mary’s Church to watch Beeham Primary school’s Harvest Festival. Our residents loved to watch the children singing and reading poems… we had a sing a long with them.

What a day it was! Our lovely home transformed into a Hawaiian paradise as we celebrated our 5th anniversary in style. The spirit of aloha was in full swing, and the festivities were nothing short of spectacular.Michael took charge of the grill and cooked up a storm of mouth-watering BBQ delights – an unforgettable feast!Toasting…

It was a beautiful morning, so it called for cappuccino’s in the garden! We even got our brains working and had a little quiz whilst sipping our coffees.
