Braeburn Lodge

We had a wonderful afternoon enjoying the sunshine, having tea and cake, telling stories and singing songs.

We decided to hop in the minibus and take a little trip down to Caversham to feed the ducks! The ladies loved seeing all the swans and feeding them, I think the swans were happy to see them too!

We had a fabulous afternoon of dancing live entertainment. Harry came in with his wonderful smooth voice to sing for us . Mary especially liked Harry singing Happy birthday to her , her face was pure joy!

A very fun morning baking scones ,with the ladies they are very good! We are going enjoy them for our afternoon tea.

We decided to make the most of the beautiful sunshine and have a quiz in our garden! It was great fun and of course rewarded with some ice cream pots!

We held our very own version of Wimbledon in our home today everyone was super Energetic! They certainly earned the strawberries and cream afterwards!

We’ve had a fabulous morning visiting and feeding the Swans and Ducks at Caversham promenade. We then popped back in the bus and had a lovely cup of tea and biscuits!

Our residents had a wonderful afternoon at our very own , Ascot garden party. The ladies dressed in their best outfits, complete with Ascot worthy head wear! We had some lovely food , desserts and of course a jug or two of Pimms! Thank you everyone for joining in and making our day super special.

Our ladies have started off the week keeping very busy. We had a parachute keep fit session, art therapy and the ladies have even helped prepare lunch!

Our ladies have enjoyed a wonderful Friday treat in the sunshine. Our chef prepared some delicious home-made brownies and our home-brewed coffee. The ladies enjoyed this treat with a good old chit-chat.
