Today our residents had a pamper session with the hair dresser . Dont they look glam!?

Our residents enjoyed a spot of Balloon Tennis this afternoon. It was a great hand-eye coordination acitvity!

Some of our residents enjoyed the visit from zoo lab ,and loved the chance of handling some of the animals. Our ladies got up close and personal to some furry friends and reptiles!

We decided on an exercise session in early January to help burn off that extra chocolate that we enjoyed over Christmas.

Braeburn residents and staff made some Christmas crafts to raise money for our activities department – staff took them to the local school in Beenham. Here, they raised a considerable amount for the interactive table that we would like to buy. Staff also hosted a raffle with amazing donations from the local community and Braeburn…

Today was Elf day for Alzheimer’s day, so we dressed up as Elfs and spread some Christmas cheer.

Making our Christingles ,we had so much fun singing along to Christmas songs whilst making them. We think the ladies did a fab job!

Today we celebrated children in need by having a wacky hair day, we think some of our residents look rather fetching with their new looks!

What a lovely evening ,all of our residents sat in the garden last night round the fire and had sparklers and enjoyed a mug of hot chocolate with chocolate stirrers made by our lovely staff Ranie, and had hot dogs and burgers for supper. Great evening had by all!
