We managed to capture these fantastic photos of our beautiful home this morning after a snow storm this past weekend. Our gardens are always looking marvellous and well-kept, but with the added snow it’s illuminated an already stunning scene.

We had great fun creating our own flavoured chocolate. We made delicious chocolate slabs with a variety of different flavourings. The people we care for had a great time creating the concoctions. Once chilled we are very much looking forward to sampling them.

Today we have made this beautiful Victoria Sponge! The two lovely residents have worked together brilliantly taking it in turns to stir the ingredients and, of course, tasting the mixture! (They both agreed this was tradition.) We have then iced and decorated the cake and then inevitably eaten it all up .The cake looked fantastic…

Today, we have got creative and made our own soap! We started by melting down plain glycerine soap and using different colours, flavours and flowers. We created our own individual soaps- which smell absolutely beautiful! The people we care for have done a fantastic job!

To kick of the new year we have started with a ladies lunch. Today we have enjoyed a home made antipasto platter! We have indulged on a fantastic selection of cheese, meats and breads and of course some champagne! We have eaten copious amounts and laughed endlessly.

We have had a lovely afternoon here getting creative and making these beautiful Christmas decorations to go around the home! Using natural resources, we have inserted them into some oasis to create these fantastic displays.

After a recent huge success with doll therapy here, we decided to invest in a new doll. We reached out on Facebook to a reborn doll group where we asked if any were for sale. We had an incredible response, and a lady reached out to us with this beautiful little boy doll. We purchased…

We have had such a fantastic afternoon working once again with BBC Radio Gloucester! With the amazing support from staff and relatives we managed to sing for the people we care for outside the conservatory and it was just incredible .We were also joined by Jaike Annetts who brought along his festive vehicle for us…
