Ganarew

Our St Patrick’s Day here at Ganarew consisted of some baking , decorating and of course sampling. We then had an afternoon of themed games.

We have been talking about wild animals and this has been reminding our residents of holidays and days out that they have had where they might have seen some of these. They enjoyed the cuddly versions

Here at Ganarew House, we don’t need an excuse to have bubbles at lunchtime! Our ladies enjoyed a glass of fizz with their lunches!

Residents enjoyed peeking behind the present boxes displayed on the wall.

Donna and Cheryl were kind enough to spend their evening taking Bill and Kath to the Savoy in Monmouth to watch the Sound of Music. They all had a fantastic time. The gin and tonic went down well with Kath at the interval. Bill wanted a soft drink. Can’t wait to see which show is…

We had a fun afternoon full of fun and games. We made some music, played connect 4 and one of our residents opened some lovely gifts!

We had a great time celebrating Easter here at Ganarew. We had our very own Easter egg hunt, all finished with a delicious Easter lunch.

Our residents have been busy today creating some pizza’s ready for tea this evening.

We had a great visit from Sister Donna, who came to the home bringing some delicious treats with her. All the residents loved chatting to her and of course tasting the hot cross buns!
