Milkwood

We had a very relaxing afternoon here at Milkwood House. We did a spot of light yoga, then after a pamper session. Here is some of the ladies showing off their new nails!

It was great to keep the agility up today with a range of activities. We had games like, balloon toss, parachute and target practice. Great fun was had by all.

We really enjoyed planting seeds ready for the beginning of Spring. We are really looking forward to watching them grow!

We wanted to share with you how beautiful the grounds at Milkwood House looked in the snow. Our residents loved waking up to this winter wonderland!

Our day was filled with so many activities today! We started off the morning with some balloon activities to get all the residents moving. Then a few of the ladies planted some new bulbs ready for the Spring. The gents got busy with clay then we finished the day off with some music!

A new year, bring new resolutions! Here are some thoughts from the residents.

We did not let lockdown stop us from having a wonderful Christmas Day here at Milkwood House. We had a delicious buffet with all the favourites, we then finished the day opening presents from our families.

Anne and Muriel are pictured rolling and cutting out their gingerbread men. They tasted fabulous, all washed down with a nice cuppa!

We really enjoyed making our own unique Christmas cards to send to our families. We got crafty with festive colours and glitter stickers and we think they look beautiful!

Here’s Ruth proudly showing off her completed jigsaw that she was sent by her daughter in the post. Ruth and Barbara both love the challenge of a jigsaw and have completed a fair few!
