The Mountains

Some of our residents enjoyed a music and sensory session at The Mountains.

We ventured out for a few hours to get some fresh air and a walk around Llandrindod Wells Lake. The residents loved how peaceful the lake was and loved watching the swans on the lake.

Here are our residents who celebrated their birthdays in May and June – we made sure their days were special.

We took two of the ladies out for some coffee, cake and retail therapy at Merthyr Retail Park. The ladies really enjoyed being back out in the community and enjoying the Costa delights.

One activity that residents really enjoy is when we have animals visit the home. Here you can see one of our nurses brought her dog in and another staff member brought a lamb in! The residents look forward to these visits and appreciate the love that the animals bring.

One of our carers, Amy Chick, who is currently on maternity leave, brought in her beautiful baby girl, Layla Snow, to visit the residents. The residents were very excited to meet her and have some cuddles! Thank you Amy for bringing her in and we hope to see you both soon!

We had such a fantastic day entertaining our lovely families on a lovely day with a great performances from everyone. There was a lot of singing and plenty of dancing!

We took our gentleman (and Joy) our to our local for a nice cold drink! The lads really enjoyed their “Lad’s Day Out” and we think Joy did too!
