The Mountains

The residents had a wonderful afternoon watching the Wimbledon Championships. In true Wimbledon fashion they also tucked into some fresh strawberries & cream, which went down very well indeed!

Happy Father’s Day to all the lovely Dads in Mynyddoedd Mountains. We had a lovely day with visits and presents from family!

It’s been lovely when the sun has been shining and we’ve been able to play a spot of table tennis outdoors!

Patricia enjoyed a sunny trip out to Cyfartha Park, stopping for a little rest and a snack on a bench. It’s so nice that we can get out and about more now and enjoy some spring weather.

We received a kind donation from Pip Woolf, who used to be the artist in residence here at the Mountains – the parcel contained a card and some scented sacks. Thank you Pip!

We spent a sunny day planting some flowers that Gillian bought on her visit to Garden centre.

To celebrate National Earth Day, we have been completing a recycling project this week. We used a cardboard box to make our very own plant pot. We think our resident has done a fab job and is a wonderful addition to the care home!
