We got creative with paint during our latest art session! Residents got hands on, literally, and produced works of art of which included posters, wind chimes and bird houses.

Andrew, and our activities coordinator, Nathan, strolled in one night at 12am! They had gone to watch Nathan’s uncle play in his band. Andrew really enjoyed himself and was surprised to see his family members.

Andrew went to go and see one his favourite bands, Feeder, at Chepstow Racecourse! He had a great night and almost lost his voice from all the singing and wooing!

Nathan, Nicola and Ellen decided to load up and take everybody on a surprise trip to Barry Island!

We had a day out exploring the beautiful Malards Pyke in the Forest of Dean! It was a brilliant outing, topped with a tasty ice cream.

Our local coffee shop celebrated their first birthday, on the 1st September. We were all thankful to be invited and involved in the celebrations, and very much enjoyed the complimentary cake!

Jennifer Bingle, a resident at Castleford, had a wonderful trip back home on Friday 1st September. She spent the day with her husband and family before being taken back to Castleford by Chris, Gail and Amy.

Ganarew House is in a great location for our residents to enjoy a variety of day trips. Here are Charlotte, Adeline and Joan. They were greeted with an ice cream before getting themselves ready to explore the farm!
