Halloween Lunch!
During our ‘Hallo-week’, we had a Halloween inspired lunch! These ladies had a howling time, eating spooktacular snacks at their frightening feast. A big ‘thank you’ to Charlotte at Charlotte’s Cakes and Bakes for our Halloween treat box- it was amazing.

Keeping active is very important, now more than ever. During lockdown the staff have tried to think of fun and interesting ways to keep our residents moving. Yoga and balloon tennis are firm favourites here. Cathy and Win really enjoy hitting the balloon and are very competitive. Look at the huge smile on Cathy’s face.

We have had a spook-tacular morning listening to Halloween music, carving our pumpkins and getting into the Halloween festivities. The people we care for who joined in really did a fantastic job designing and carving the pumpkins! Our activities lead, Amanda, very kindly collected some large rocks from her visit to the seaside for everyone to decorate. Craft class was taken outside on a warm day, we also enjoyed some tea/fruit juices and a biscuit or two! The residentstook their time carefully weaving different colours around the template to make a beautiful small basket/bowl. They alldid a great job! As you can see we had a lovely afternoon together.

Our resident has always enjoyed both reading and listening to poetry and used to run the Petersfield Poetry Club, where she spent many happy years enjoying the works of different poets.
