The Lodge Dynasty

First, we had Kaye MacNamara, who came to us in 2016 and is a senior carer at the Lodge. Then, we employed the lovely Nikki Williams who works 10 hours a week as our housekeeper. Thank You Tesco

We would live to say a big thank you to Tesco Chepstow for donating this wonderful hamper to everyone living at Castleford House and for the box of biscuits for the staff, too! We are so fortunate to live in such a generous community!

Arts & Crafts

Residents enjoyed an afternoon of creative arts and crafts. Some of the residents chose to blow paint through straws to make colourful pictures.Others asked to do vegetable stamping, so Elayne and Alison cut potatoes and other vegetables intoshapes. Gwen, David, Christine, Ray and some staff had a go at this. They all had great fun…

Outdoor Entertainment

We were delighted to welcome Tickled Pink who performed an outdoor theatre production for us. The residents really enjoyed the show and clapped along to the music.

Clevedon Beach

After missing so much last year with the lockdown we are making up for it this summer and trying to visit all of our local beaches! Lettuce Eat A Sarnie

For National Sandwich Week, we did something a little different and made a sandwich “cake”. Our lovely cook, Ann, came up with this unusual idea, which went down a treat.
