Spooky Halloween Crafting!

We thoroughly enjoy immersing ourselves in seasonal festivities, and this year was no exception. Both our staff and residents had a wonderful time celebrating Halloween by engaging in some delightfully spooky pumpkin colouring activities. Here’s Joan proudly displaying her creative masterpiece.

Spooky fun at Applewood

One thing is for sure, we could never be accused of not dressing up for an occasion! Bats, pumpkins, witch hats and even devil bandanas made for a spooktastic day at Applewood. Look at all these beaming faces wearing scary costumes. A fun and happy day for all!

Our trip to Hayling Donkey Sanctuary was a heartwarming experience! The donkeys stole our hearts with their charm and playful antics. A big thank you to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable day.

Celebrating art club achievements

Our Art Club ladies have truly impressed us with their creativity and progress. Every Tuesday, our ladies gather with brushes, colours, and boundless enthusiasm, and the results have been nothing short of amazing! Over 12 weeks, their skills have flourished, and their dedication is evident in every stroke. Here’s to more wonderful creations ahead!

Arcade Fun!

We had a fantastic time taking June and Margaret to the arcade. They had an absolute blast playing on the 2p machines, enjoying games like ‘Whack a Clown,’ and Margaret even triumphed over Rosie in air hockey! Together, we managed to earn 51 tickets, and the ladies are excited to save them for another visit…

A Musical Journey to Petersfield

We embarked on an enriching trip to The Square Brewery in Petersfield to witness the talented musicians of the Ukulele Band in practice. The lively tunes and warm atmosphere left everyone with hearts full of musical inspiration and joy.

We hosted an exciting balloon art event, bringing a burst of colour and joy into our home. Our residents had a blast watching a talented balloon artist create a variety of impressive sculptures, from playful animals to beautiful flowers.
