Enjoying some games and getting those trees decorated …. it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We have been raising money for The Alzheimer’s Society. The Elf had been staying at Donnas house and she was finally able to send him to his new home today! Welcome to Ganarew, Elf.

The wonderful Eva turned 100 and what a day we had celebrating! She has been showered with cards and gifts, a wonderful buffet with champagne and of course a card from The Queen!

Our residents had a great afternoon making Chelsea Buns, they were brilliant at kneading and rolling the dough, adding the raisins and cutting them perfectly! They also were great at sampling their creations!

Our residents Glen and Margaret had a great time decorating the bonfire cakes.

This Halloween, our residents have enjoyed some spookily delicious treats, pumpkin carving activities, crafting and of course the famous Halloween game, apple bobbing, which both the residents and staff found great fun!

Everyone enjoyed a wonderful cheese and wine tasting session. We had a selection of cheeses and wines for our residents to choose from, with a selection of crackers to accompany the cheese. The residents thoroughly enjoyed their sampling session!

We love a good fairground game here at Ganarew House. Here’s June, Pat and Gina enjoying a good old game of “hook a duck”.
