The Mountains

We wanted to create some beautiful wall art to go on display here at The Mountains. Our residents got super crafty and created this wonderful flower masterpiece. We think it looks fabulous!

Today these lovely ladies started off the morning with a cup of coffee, some biscuits and a game of Bingo! It was great way to start the day.

We had a joyous Christmas Day here at The Mountains. Our residents opened some lovely presents from their families, we had a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings, we pulled crackers and had a good old Christmas sing song! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at The Mountains!

This week our residents have been creating their very own colourful baubles and stars to hang on our resident bauble tree! It looks so delightful on our resident board for all the families to see.

Our residents enjoyed some Christmas games this afternoon. They particularly enjoyed the reindeer ring toss game!

Today we had a very festive guest visit us. Complete with a red coat, antlers and of course a bright red nose, this shetland pony named, Tonto was a very welcome guest indeed.

Here are a few of the residents decorating cakes and cookies all beautifully festive! We think they look fabulous and taste delicious too!

To get us all in the festive mood, our lovely ladies have started to decorate the Christmas Trees around the home. The first on the list was the tree in the Mari Jones unit. We dug into our bauble bag and decorated the tree is some beautiful reds, greens and golds. Now onto the next…
