The Orchard

Our residents enjoying a dancing session with Casey and Claire – we had old school songs that we danced along to with scarves. We used our hand-eye coordination skills by throwing a ball to one another and moving our muscles! Lots of fun was had by everyone!

We all gathered together to enjoy a delicious roast dinner. For pudding, there was a choice of chocolate brownie or fresh scones with cream & strawberry jam. Simply delicious!

We had a little celebration to cheer everyone up during this difficult time. We enjoyed the warmth of the sun and chatted about daily life and future goals. It was a lovely garden party.

We celebrated Milkwood Care’s 20th anniversary with a wonderful firework display. We were delighted that so many family and friends came along to join in the celebrations. The clients at The Orchard really enjoy their Sunday roast. The manager has made subtle changes to improve the dining experience for everyone, such as having vegetables served in side dishes with meals, and gravy served in gravy boats. Georgina, a resident at The Orchard, helped to make little chicks for the Easter tree! They turned to be funny, but cute looking, creatures.

Linzi, made a variety of different tasting smoothies for residents at The Orchard to try. It was a great success… they loved every one of them!
