Easter this year was a bit quieter than usual, but we sure made up for the lack of visitors. We had Easter games, sing alongs and lots of chocolate, of course.

Everybody at Milkwood House came out of their rooms and into the lounge to listen to Jodie perform. There was plenty of participation from all our residents, who were all happy to sing and dance along with her.

A few of our residents from Milkwood House enjoyed a sail on The Alison McGregor. They cruised from Southampton docks along the River Itchen and enjoyed a tea and coffee at sea.

Milkwood House held a party for St. George’s Day, which turned out brilliantly! We had a patriotic sing a long to Last Night of The Proms and enjoyed a picture  quiz on all things England and famous Georges.

Residents at Milkwood House often enjoy making their very own bird food. This is of course a great activity in itself, but seeing the birds enjoy the food is equally as much fun.

Meet Milkwoods newest team members Darren, Jon, Jordan and Sophie! Darren has worked in day centres. Jordan enjoys helping our residents with gardening and outdoor based activities.
